The second version of the theme song was used for four episodes, The Spider Slayer, The Return of the Spider Slayers, The Menace of Mysterio, and The Sting of the Scorpion.
Clips from Doctor Octopus: Armed and Dangerous were inserted into this version of the theme song along with original animation of Shocker, Mysterio, Rhino, and Scorpion. This theme gave the viewers a better idea of the villains that would be showing up throughout the first season.
