The Black Panther trailer has made it online after being shown at this past weekend's San Diego Comic-Con. Comic Book Resources has a hi-def version as well as an interview with series creator Reginald Hudlin and a promo vid that was shown to buyers.
Take a minute and watch the trailer or check out the one below and then let's talk about it.
Now that you've watched the trailer, I would like to say that this was not what I was expecting at all. Not that it's bad, it's just...different.
First of all, I'm not a fan of Flash or Flash-like programs used to create entire television shows. I am a diehard 2D animation fan and would much prefer to see all my superheroes in that medium.
However, to produce a show that is literally ripped from the comics and is based on John Romita Jr's detailed artwork, I can see the benefit to using Flash. I just don't like how each body part moves independently rather than as a whole.
I will still watch the show as I am a fan of Romita Jr., Black Panther and animated superheroes. As I understand it, this will only be an eight episode mini-series and will air in October of this year.

It's a contemporary '60s Grantrey-Lawrence MARVEL SUPERHEROES show.
