Date Set for Wonder Woman



Comics Continuum reports that Warner Home Video has set March 3 as the release date for the DC Universe Original Animated Movie, Wonder Woman.

The film will be released as a single and 2-disc DVD, Blu-ray and various means of pay per view and digital download.

Here is a rundown of the bonus features on the 2-Disc DVD and the Blu-ray disc:

  • Audio commentary from Gregory Noveck (Senior Vice President, Creative Affairs, DC Comics), Bruce Timm (Producer), Lauren Montgomery (Director) and Michael Jelenic (Screenplay).
  • Wonder Woman: A Subversive Dream, a featurette focusing on the importance of Wonder Woman and the impact she had on society.
  • Wonder Woman: The Daughters of Myth, a featurette about the history of Amazons and how that shaped the creation of Wonder Woman.
  • Wonder Woman: The Amazon Princess, a featurette on the history of Wonder Woman featuring interviews with the cast and crew of the film.
  • Bruce Timm's Top Picks, like all of the DC Universe Original Animated Movies, the 2-Disc DVD and Blu-ray disc will come packaged with four TV episodes from the Timmverse that relate to the film's central character. This package will include Wonder Woman centric episodes from Justice League and Justice League Unlimited: To Another Shore, Hawk and Dove and Paradise Lost, Parts 1 & 2.
  • Sneak Peak of the next DC Universe Original Animated Movie

    Hey Comicbookguy,

    I don't know if you are the same guy who left the other comment about how Marvel Animation Age scooped the Hulk story first, but I think you need to understand that I can't read everything on the net. While Worlds Finest is a great resource, I didn't get this info from them and that is why they didn't get credit.

    I'm not out to be the first person to deliver the news, I just want to be a good source of information. I report the news as I get it.
