Daredevil Animated Series in 2010!

**UPDATE**

You guessed it right! This was only an April Fool's joke! I hope I didn't get your hopes up too much! I too would love to see an animated series based on the Man Without Fear, but it probably won't be in 2010.

Daredevil has been one of Marvel's top tier properties for years. He has had his own movie, he's all over Marvel merchandise, and he has had numerous guest appearances in various different cartoons, and he was even a guest-star in the Incredible Hulk TV movie The Trial of the Incredible Hulk. But he has never been the star of his own animated series!

Fans have been asking for it for years, and now finally it looks like the dream may finally come true!

Marvel has announced that an animated series based on Ol' Hornhead is in the early stages of pre-production and has a projected 2010 release date! The 26-episode series will follow Matt Murdock as he experiences his first year as a blind superhero taking on villains like Bullseye, Kingpin and the Owl!

I can't tell you how excited I am about this series as it is a corner of the Marvel Universe that hasn't been explored in animation! News is quite sparse right now as the show is only in pre-production but stay tuned and I'll let you know the developments as they develop!

You got me also, I was hoping this was true because it would be a cool show. It may happen in a few more years specially if they make a second daredevil live action movie they may make a series for it. Since that's the way marvel has been progressing. Making an animated show to go along with a live action movie.
