The first look at the joint project between Marvel and the Japanese animation company Madhouse was revealed today at the San Diego Comic-Con. Marvel Anime is a project that sees Western superheroes reinterpreted for the Eastern world in what is arguably the most popular medium in children's programming.
The first two series in the line of four planned Marvel Anime are Iron Man and Wolverine which are scheduled to premiere in Japan in Spring 2010. What do you think? Is this a good move? Are you willing to accept a completely different version of your favourite characters?
I personally think that this could be the coolest thing to happen in the world of superhero animation.

god damn anime, why the hell they did that ??? wolverine is so lame :(
i love all DC and Marvel cartoons, but i dont think that i will watch this!!! it was enough that they ruined gotham knight, now this :(
i'm against anime and i'm for green lantern, superman/batman kid of animation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ironman looks pretty awesome, not so sure about the Wolverine it's a bit strange.
This has to be the coolest thing I've seen in My life !!! Go Marvel Anime :)))
I'd be a little more interested if it featured two characters I WASN'T completely sick of. Marvel has literally ruined Wolverine for me.
The animation studio will be Madhouse, the same studio responsible for the Deadshot episode in Gotham Knight,so at least we can expect quality animation. As for the trailers Iron Man looks promising but I really don't like the way they drew Wolverine...
awesooooome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
