Your Superhero Animation Guide to the San Diego Comic-Con

The San Diego Comic-Con is here and I have collected all of the superhero animation related programs during this extended weekend:

Green Lantern: First Flight World Premiere
Ballroom 20

The fifth DC Universe Animated Original Movie makes its world premiere at the Con's opening night. Green Lantern: First Flight arrives on Blu-ray and DVD on July 28.

Batman: The Brave and the Bold Screening and Q&A
Room 6DE

Possibly the most fun program of the Con is this special screening of Mayhem of the Music Meister, the musical episode of Batman: the Brave and the Bold, starring Neil Patrick Harris as the Music Meister!

Following the screening will be a question and answer session with Diedrich Bader (voice of Batman), John DiMaggio (voice of Aquaman), executive producer Sam Register, producer James Tucker, producer and story editor Michael Jelenic, and voice director Andrea Romano.

Marvel Animation
Room 6BCF

Marvel's president of animation Eric Rollman and general manager of Nicktoons Network Keith Dawkins are joined by Wolverine and the X-Men head writer Greg Johnson, Iron Man: Armored Adventures head writer Chris Yost, supervising producer for Wolverine and Iron Man Craig Kyle, Wolverine voice director Jamie Simone, and voice of Wolverine Steve Blum discuss the future of both shows.

Then the part of the program that I'm more interest in, a first look at two Marvel Anime series featuring Japanese animation studio Madhouse. Madhouse president Masao Maruyama (Gotham Knight), and writer Warren Ellis answer questions about the two shows.

All this and a sneak peek at an upcoming Marvel Animated Feature Film!

DC Universe Animated Super Powers: Green Lantern: First Flight and Superman/Batman: Public Enemies
Room 6BCF

Executive producer Bruce Timm, casting/dialogue director Andrea Romano, director Lauren Montgomery, writer Alan Burnett, and voice talent Christopher Meloni (voice of Green Lantern) and Juliet Landau (voice of Labella) discuss Green Lantern: First Flight and show a few clips in case you missed Thursday's screening.

Then, Timm and Romano will be joined by supervising producer Michael Goguen, director Sam Liu, and writer Stan Berkowitz, and the voice of Batman Kevin Conroy, for the first-ever footage and public discussion of Superman/Batman: Public Enemies.

Marvel: "Hero Up" with The Super Hero Squad Show!
Room 6BCF

More exciting news as we get a first look at the upcoming Cartoon Network series The Super Hero Squad Show as well as a live performance by actors from the show: Tom Kenny (Iron Man and MODOK), Charlie Adler (Dr. Doom), Steve Blum (Wolverine), Grey DeLisle (Ms. Marvel), and Stan "The Man" Lee (The Mayor).

Supervising producer Cort Lane, Matt Wayne, supervising director Mitch Schauer, and executive producers Joe Quesada and Eric Rollman talk about the show and answer questions.

The Spectacular Spider-Man
Room 6A

Supervising producer Greg Weisman, supervising producer/supervising director Vic Cook, character designer Sean "Cheeks" Galloway, the voice of Spider-Man, Josh Keaton, the voice of Sha Shan Nguyen Kelly Hu, and the voice of the Vulture, Robert Englund host a question and answer session about Disney XD's hit animated series.

I'm sure the question "will there be a third season?" will be asked, but I wonder what the answer will be...
