Super Hero Squad Show Marathon This Week!



The ratings for Cartoon Network's Super Hero Squad Show have been through the roof, so they are celebrating by bringing us a whole week of new episodes!

The multi-day marathon will air every weekday morning at 8:30am! Monday will be a re-run of episode 6, and the network is holding off episode 7 (which features Thor, Loki, and the rest of Asgard) for a later date, but Tuesday to Saturday we get episodes 8-12! That's five new episodes in a row!

There is a lot to look forward to in these episodes: Celebrity voices such as Greg Grunberg, Wayne Knight, James Marsters and Ray Stevenson! 33 Marvel characters in episode six! Punisher! Black Widow! Nick Fury! Wolverine as Captain Canada!

    When a bratty 3-year old girl wears a fractal tiara, she gains terrifying power over reality itself. Mayhem reigns for heroes AND villains. But the Heroes For Hire are on the case to help the Squad find her father and stop Doom's plan to use this chaos to his advantage.

    When the Helicarrier is embarrassingly smashed, the Squad needs to find a place to crash. The team proves none too welcome at Stark Industries, the Punisher's battle van and Reptil's bedroom. Dr. Strange takes them in, but they dread a creepy, wacky night in his Sanctum Sanctorum. And thanks to the Enchantress, there is even more magical mayhem than they bargained for.

Fortunately, the Squad can count on Ant-Man to help them chase down the villains at micro-scale. But being super-small leads them into some very unpleasant places, including Hulk's nose.

    111 – O, Captain, My Captain

    For a lone-wolf like Wolverine, close-quarters with the Squad has become more than he can take – so he asks Cap for a transfer. He is quickly drafted into the international All-Captains Squad, where he reluctantly dons a hokey Captain Canada costume and treks to the Amazon. Meanwhile, the Squaddies have an embarrassing encounter at the circus and miss Wolverine. But Wolvie just wants to ditch the kooky Captains and return to his team.

Meanwhile, Dr. Doom is making a devious deal with a mysterious cosmic villain named Thanos. As the battle rages in the Baxter Building and outer space, our heroes find that both threats are connected and they may have to make a deal of their own to save the Earth!

But Nick Fury may just have provided their ace in the hole… Screaming Mimi turns on the villains, revealing herself to be an undercover SHIELD agent named Songbird!
