Black Panther Theme Song

The music for the Black Panther mini-series was composed by Stephen James Taylor who has scored many cartoon series over the past 25 years, including Tiny Toon Adventures, G.I. Joe, Teacher's Pet and Mickey Mouseworks.

Taylor uses his talents to bring to life the tribal world of Wakanda while blending it with modern day hip hop and urban beats. He is no stranger when it comes to scoring jungle themed cartoons, having previously worked on Marsupilami, Timon and Pumbaa and Jungle Cubs for Disney.

This title sequence is unique in that it gives credit to the voices actors at the beginning of the show rather than at the end. this is a practice not commonly seen in animated television shows since there are not usually high-profile names to highlight. Spider-Man: the New Animated Series also credited the main cast in the theme song.

I can't stop listening to this opening. I would add it to my Mp3 player and take it for jogs!
Anyone have the file?

It's a pretty awesome tune. It would be pretty cool if there's a longer version.

Marvel's shows have been pretty good at having really catchy theme songs lately.

I'm just still looking for the song that plays when the wakandans chant T'challa's name! Anyone whose seen he series knows what I am talking about.

Fantastic tune by Stephen James Taylor! Awesome as a ring tone, doubt. An English translation would be awesome if even plausible. For the T'challa chant just check out the beginning of episode 10. It's the opening chant. 1luv
