Review (Warning! Spoilers!): Rather than directly adapting one issue of a comic for this episode, Grantray-Lawrence Animation has cobbled together their own, all-new story, made up of scenes from Avengers #7 and Avengers #15.

In both issues, Cap goes off on his own adventure, apart from his Avenger buddies, which makes it much simpler for the studio to create their own Cap solo adventure.

The art in Avengers #7 is by Jack Kirby, but Avengers #15 is provided by Don Heck, so there is a bit of inconsistency in the drawings, but this is mostly unnoticeable since the characters of off-model a lot of the time anyway.

I would have loved to see Grantray-Lawrence create some more of their own stories for this series. The adventures they created in Spider-Man were excellent and I can only image what they would have done with these character had they only been given a bigger budget.
