Episode Guides are a very important part of any television series, especially a serial show where the overall story runs through each episode and watching the episodes in order is important. The internet has become a great resource for episode guides with several sites devoted to them. However, many have their own idea of what the correct order should be. In order of production number or airdate? Where do the seasons start and end? Is the Adventures of Batman & Robin the third season of Batman: the Animated Series?
Since everyone has their own opinion, here is mine which is the basis of the episode guides on this page.
I am listing episodes in order of airdate as that is how viewers experienced the show for the first time. However, I know that some shows got aired out of order, the most extreme case being X-Men which aired the episode about Cyclops mourning Jean Grey's death two seasons after she came back to life, so I am also including the production numbers so you can watch the show the way the story should play out.
I will make notes on the individual lists if episode order issues need to be addressed. Please also note that this is not necessarily the episode order for DVD releases.
